Manq’a is a social restaurant that celebrates Bolivian products. We work with young chefs trained in the schools of Manq’a de El Alto and Sucre. We are the business part of a social project that trains around 700 vulnerable young people as cooks who revalue the agro-food identity of Bolivia and promote healthy eating in their family and their environment. Manq’a has 13 cuisine schools; 90% of the staff who work in the restaurant have graduated from Manq’a schools and all profits generated through the restaurant are reinvested in the social project. Per year, we serve around 23,000 dishes; have over 100 corporate clients; create 30 indirect jobs; and have 45 linked producers.
