Youth Online Consultations: The UN FSS Secretariat together with the youth champions alongwith the World Food Forum is organizing online youth consultations in order to provide youth groups globally the opportunity to complement, improve and suggest solutions for the improvement of food systems. This will be done in two steps-decentralized pre-consultations and a two week online consultation starting the week of 21st June. In order to prepare for this, we are requesting youth networks and platforms to organize a series of pre-consultations in June before the 2-week online consultation with UNFSS. Guidelines for the online pre-consultations are available in the Youth Consultation Handbook.

The decentralized pre-consultations will feed into the two-week online youth consultation process scheduled for the week of 21st June. Through this process the youth will identify and finalize concrete commitments towards food system transformation that can be shared during the pre-Summit and Summit.

With this background, we are writing to seek your support to identify relevant youth networks, platforms, alliances, in your country/and or region that may be interested to organize the pre-consultations to solicit inputs and feedback from their youth members.
