The United Nations Food Systems Summit is a great opportunity to reach consensus on the transformations that need to be made. For this reason, the Latin American Industry reaffirms its commitment to produce food and beverages in a sustainable way, and urges to reflect and work together to overcome the current challenges, leaving available to add to the process of discussion, the experience and the trajectory of the region on food systems. Based on the above, the industry will continue with the commitment to work with governments and all key sectors in the production chain to build value on issues such as the urgent recovery of employment after the COVID-19 crisis, the improvement of productivity, the increase in international trade and innovation that promote food from all its edges in the different social contexts, economic and cultural.
